A Day in the Life: A Play by Portia V. Love, Sunday Evening
Join us at the Benson B-Side for this intimate, poignant play that takes the stereotypes associated with homelessness to task, written by Omaha's own Portia V. Love. If you can't make it to this performance, the final performance of this three-show run is on Monday, August 5 at 7:00 PM. Doors open one hour before showtime.
Tickets are $15 at the door, but you can bring a food item, clothing item for adults or children, or other gently-used items to receive $1 off of your admission price. Proceeds from ticket sales and donations will benefit Siena/Francis House Homeless Shelter, Stephen Center, and MICAH House.
“A Day in the Life” is made possible through support from The Nebraska Writers Collective, and is sponsored by Automatic Printing Company, The Mullers Photo Co., Animorum, Big Mama's Kitchen And Catering, Presbytery of Missouri River Valley, Black Votes Matter Institute of Community Engagement, Hy-Vee, Great Plains Black History Museum, Humanities Nebraska & the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, Billye Tate, and Michael & Erin Moran.
